1. Fasting Ramadan is most suitable for pregnant women in second trimester, as the first and last trimester are associated with some medical problems "you should consult your doctor first before fasting".
2. Fasting pregnant women should drink at least one to two liters of water between Iftar and Sahour.
3. Iftar meal size should be moderate providing it contains a source of minerals and vitamins as in salad and fruits in addition to a small portions of proteins and carbohydrates.
4. High fat and fried food should be limited as possible because it is considered a main cause for indigestion.
5. Eating fresh vegetables and fruits rich in fibers as (apples and pears) regulate digestion and reduce the incidence of constipation.
